Terms of Use

kpoparea (the "Service") is an online magazine publishing K-POP news, videos and photos in six languages. These terms apply to everyone who uses the Service, and by accessing it you agree to them.

The Service is free to read and requires no registration.

The articles, edited compilations, design and logos published on the Service belong to kpoparea or to their respective rights holders.

Short, attributed quotations are permitted within the limits of applicable copyright law. Reproducing, translating, redistributing or commercially exploiting a full article or a substantial part of one requires our prior written consent. Requests can be sent to the address below.

The Service embeds videos hosted on external platforms such as YouTube and links to external sites. Copyright in that third-party content, and responsibility for it, remains with whoever published it; kpoparea does not warrant its accuracy or legality.

Playing embedded content also subjects you to that platform’s own terms and privacy policy. If you are a rights holder and believe content here infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove or block it promptly.

When using the Service you agree not to: (a) harvest content in bulk by automated means or place an unreasonable load on our servers; (b) interfere with the normal operation of the Service or attempt to circumvent its security; or (c) use the content to infringe the rights of others or to break the law.

The Service displays third-party advertising, including advertising served through Google AdSense. kpoparea is not responsible for the content of those ads or for the goods and services advertisers offer; any transaction is strictly between you and the advertiser. We work to publish accurate information, but we do not warrant that the content is complete or up to date. Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, kpoparea is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and where there is good cause we may do so without prior notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute arising from use of the Service shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
